When i was 21 I was hired as account executive with an investment house, i sold jumbo certificates of deposits. I dealt with credit unions, banks, savings and loans portfolios. I cold called all day and either found the institution that needed money and would offer attractive rates, or investors. In order to be proficient at what i did i studied for my series 7, which enabled you to broker higher risk investments (you have to know about other investment vehicles to sell yours ). It was an exciting time in my life, and a type A position. When you decide to matriculate as an economist you learn from the past, and we studied “The Great Depression”.

Now back in the 30’s we were not the “Information Age! we relied on little boy newsies…we weren’t inundated with faxes, emails, conference calls, video conferencing, texting, pda’s, cell phones, satellite phones, world wide web, podcasts and CNN. Sensationalism is where we’re at right now…

We learned what caused the great depression.

RUMOR+FEAR+SCARCITY+PANIC = Run on banks….

You see there are the board meetings that hear all this babble, and they say hey we should cut our budgets, because some guy says so. The first things that are cut are is the discretionary dollar ie: travel seminars, bonuses, jobs, raises, and that trickles down to us…price rise, housing, goes down, banks get stringent…..So you see we are all connected.

I implore all you CFOs and CEOs to stop watching the news, and economists…to me an economist is like a weather man always speculating, and getting paid for guessing. All you Doom Sayer’s are in your position of scarcity, because you are being guided by self limiting beliefs which in turn causes self limiting results. What you believe you conceive, as simple as that. there is enough in the world.

“CHANGE YOUR PARADIGM- CHANGE YOUR LIFE!”

~Julia a. Renfro

Life is full of drama and twists and turns. Drama (challenges) is what we grow and stretch from. It is only drama when you REACT to it rather than RESPOND to it. That is the difference between a “Self Actualized” person verses a victim who lets life challenges spill into other domains in their lives. Be in the here and now, Live in the future, there… there is hope, not in the past where shouldas and couldas are irrelevant. So how is a person drama free, ask yourself another “distinction” of a life lived successfuly…”So what, now what! and handle it. I would tend to be leery of a person who was afraid drama….or even avoided…that’s a life with no challenges and no personal growth. Our society is so narcissistic that “its a all about me society” WITH NO ACCOUNTABILITY. In fact everyone else is to blame for their results. But I ask you this, who is the common denominator?

What is “Source”… Well it is know as one of the most valuable distinctions in a life lived successfully.

I often hear messages when I most need them. Sometimes you hear something so many times you know what it means , but you lose the effect because you become desensitized to it. I was reminded today in a different way. A dear friend of mine bought me a calender of daily quotes from “Women who do too much”. There are what they call RED FLAGS to remind you that you are not on a good course. It stated, “Make a mental note to start raising a mental red flag when you start blaming someone else for anything. Retreat to your part in the issue, and you’ll feel much better. Victims aren’t very happy people”.

In fact “Victims” are miserable, they take no responsibility for anything in their lives. They point fingers, Sue, blame, fault, whine, cry, and get a bigger pay-off in being wronged, then figuring out how to make it right or moving on to happiness and peace.

Taking “Responsibility and Accountability” does not mean taking the blame, and it does not mean faulting oneself. It means I am “Source” it means STOPPING and asking yourself, “What was my way of being ( or how was I being) that had me end up with these results?” or “I have these results So What , Now What (another distinction) ?”

All you have are you RESULTS. Those results are the key to your ”Source” “Omega” “Being”…

The strongest example I can think of and many facillitators of personal growth seminars use is a woman by the name of Candice Lightner the following is an article from Wikipedia

Candice Lightner was the organizer and founding president of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). In 1980, Lightner’s 13-year-old daughter, Cari, was killed by a drunken hit-and-run driver as she walked down a suburban street in California. The impact of the accident broke almost every bone in her body and fractured her skull, yet the driver left her dead body at the scene. “I promised myself on the day of Cari’s death that I would fight to make this needless homicide count for something positive in the years ahead,” Candy Lightner later wrote.[citation needed]A 1983 television movie about Lightner resulted in publicity for the group, which grew rapidly.

In the early 1990s, the group managed to attract attention from the United States Congress. At a time when alcohol consumption laws varied greatly by state, New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg was a notable early supporter.[citation needed]Lautenberg took exception to the fact that youth in New Jersey could easily travel into New York to purchase alcoholic beverages, thereby circumventing New Jersey’s law restricting consumption to those 21-years-old and over.[3] The group had its greatest success with the imposition of a 1984 federal law, the National Minimum Drinking Age Act, that introduced a federal penalty (a 5%–later raised to 10%–loss of federal highway dollars), for states that didn’t raise to 21 the minimum legal age for the purchase and possession of alcohol. After the United States Supreme Court upheld the law in the 1987 case of South Dakota v. Dole, every state capitulated.

In 1988, a drunk driver traveling the wrong way on Interstate 71 in Kentucky caused a head-on collision with a school bus. 27 people died and dozens more were injured in the ensuing fire. The Carrollton bus disaster in 1988 was tied with another bus crash in Kentucky in 1958as the deadliest bus crash in U.S. history, and remains the country’s deadliest drunk-driving incident to date. In the aftermath, several parents of the victims became actively involved in MADD, and one became its national president.

In 1990, MADD introduced its “20 by 2000″ plan to reduce the proportion of traffic fatalities that are alcohol-related 20 percent by the year 2000. This goal was accomplished three years early, in 1997.[citation needed] That same year, MADD Canada was founded.[4]

In 1991, MADD released its first “Rating the States” report, grading the states in their progress against drunk driving. “Rating the States” has been released four times since then.

In 1999, MADD’s National Board of Directors unanimously voted to change the organization’s mission statement to include the prevention of underage drinking.[5]

In 2002, MADD announced an “Eight-Point Plan”. This comprised:

Resuscitate the nation’s efforts to prevent impaired driving.

Increase driving while intoxicated (DWI)/driving under the influence (DUI) enforcement, especially the use of frequent, highly publicized sobriety checkpoints.

Enact primary enforcement seat belt laws in all states.

Create tougher, more comprehensive sanctions geared toward higher-risk drivers.

Develop a dedicated National Traffic Safety Fund.

Reduce underage drinking.

Increase beer excise taxes to the same level as those for spirits.

Reinvigorate court monitoring programs.[6]

In a November 2006 press release, MADD launched its Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving: this is a four-point plan to completely eliminate drunk driving in the United States using a combination of current technology (such as alcohol ignition interlock devices), new technology in smart cars, law enforcement, and grass roots activism.[7]

This is an example of making Lemonade out of sour lemons.

How about failing marriages, children’s failing grades, the children succumbing to peer pressure, drugs, sex, teen pregnancy, ostracized relatives.

The most positive and brave thing a person can do for oneself is ask yourself, “How am I responsible for these results?” and “What can I Be, and Do to Have different results?” Then you will have the results you dreamed of…

“Being the Source to an Accountable World”

I was on line researching vision boards and came across this well written article by Tristan Loo, and I thought why re-invent the wheel just copy paste and give credit where credit is due…I have used vision boards for many years and they have worked. When we were intending to have children (This is another Distinction of a life that works a life of excellence: notice how I do not say Trying, because trying is a way out, it leaves you a backdoor it is either YES or NO or DO or DON’T it leaves yourself open for failure, a COP-OUT). I opened a blank journal and started writing my affirmations, and I started doodling, and writing down optimal FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormones) numbers, I drew many mature follicles in my ovaries, I sketched myself giving birth…Among other things as I said before in this related article /2008/08/20/affirmation-for-pregnancy/ I was not going to try …

So in my research I found this very cool article that gives a GROUNDED explanation as to why vision boards are an important tool for achieving goals…I also found software that assists you in creating one…Then I thought, I have PowerPoint and WA-LA Me and my husband now have custom presentations representing visual goals with narrative affirmations and cool music…Now all my friends and clients are asking me to create custom Electronic Vision Boards for them…What better tool to have at your computer especially if you spend as much time as we do.

can be best explained by the information filtering system of the brain known as the reticular activating system (RAS). Vision boards serve the role of programming the RAS to tune into external stimuli that can help us move closer towards our intentions.

At the base of the human brain stem, in between the medulla oblongata and the mesencephalon, there is a small finger-sized control center called the reticular activating system (RAS) that sorts and evaluates incoming data.[3] Your RAS is responsible for filtering all the incoming information that your brain receives and it also acts as receiver for information that is tagged as important.

A simple way to conceptualize the RAS is to think of it like a radio. You are surrounded by radio waves from various stations and your portable radio can pick up those channels, but only one at a time. You havetotune your radio to a specific frequency of your favorite radio station in order to receive it properly. Your RAS is not much different in this regard. Imagine you are in a meeting room talking to several people and out in the distant corner of the room you hear your name. All your focus gets diverted in the direction that you heard your name because that bit of information is tagged by the RAS as important to you. Your RAS is responsible for having the ability to sleep through the noise of traffic outside your room, but waking up suddenly at the smallest cry from your infant child. Another example of the RAS at work is when you go and buy a brand new car and then suddenly you notice many more people around your city have that exact same car.

According to Hans Morvec, the principal research scientist at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University, the human brain can handle up to 100 trillion bits of information at any given time.[4] With all that information coming in, how does your RAS know what to filter? Your RAS is naturally programmed to prioritize information that is necessary for survival, like listening for a the particular sound of an oncoming vehicle when walking close to a street. The RAS can’t distinguish between a real event and a contrived reality, however, and we can exploit this weakness to program it to seek out stimuli in our environment that resonate with our goals. The process of creating a vision board is one of the best ways to program the RAS. It programs the RASto pay attention to certain things in your environment that are in frequency with your goal or vision, in much the same way as you are able to pick up your name being mentioned in a conversation on the other side of a room while talking to others. This selectiveattentionfilter makes you aware of daily things that can help you achieve your goal and it’s your job to take action on those opportunities when they present themselves.

HOW TO MAKE AND USE YOUR VISION BOARD

Your personal vision board is only limited by the extent of your own creativity. Some of my students have produced simple vision boards and others have made vision boards that could probably sell at an art show for hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Having artistic ability is not a prerequisite for creating a functional vision board however and the procedures I’ve outlined below can be used by anyone.

The general elements that a well-designed vision board should include are:

Visual. Your subconscious mind works in pictures and images, so make your vision board as visual as possible with as many pictures as you can. You can supplement your pictures with words and phrases to increase the emotional response you get from it.

Emotional. Each picture on your vision board should evoke a positive emotional response from you. The mere sight of your vision board should make you happy and fuel your passion to achieve it every time you look at it.

Strategically-placed. Your vision board should be strategically placed in a location that gives you maximum exposure to it. You need to constantly bath your subconscious mind with it’s energy in order to manifest your desires quicker than you hope.

Personal. Negative feelings, self-doubt, and criticism can damage the delicate energy that your vision board emits. If you fear criticism or justification of your vision board from others, then place it in a private location so it can only be seen by yourself.

Supplies Needed

Foam core board (recommended) or poster board

A large assortment of magazines. You want to make sure that these are in color. You can go to various businesses or hospitals to ask for their old issues.

Glue. I prefer the dispenser type tape rollers, commonly used to mount photos because they are clean and won’t damage your pictures.

Scissors

(Optional) Color inkjet or laser printer

(Optional) 3 1/3” x 4” or larger printer labels. I use Avery #5164 mailing labels that work great.

(Optional) Internet accessStep 1—Compile your pictures.Start by going through your magazines and compiling all the pictures that you can find that are relevant to your goal. Don’t evaluate the pictures or start pasting them onto your board. Just stack them into a pile. If you are internet saavy, then a much quicker method that I do myself is to use an internetsearchengine to find good pictures that I can use for my board. You can either print the pictures out on paper and then glue it to the board, or print the pictures out onto a self-adhesive label so that it becomes a sticker. This is the preferred method because it is takes much less time to do and you can pinpoint your pictures using very good technology at your hands. Make sure that each image that you put on your board resonates with your heart and makes you excited at the mere look of it. It’s also important when selecting pictures to include anything that is congruent with your goal, such as any changes in your life that might result from obtaining your goal. So if your goal is to have a six figure income, then select pictures of a lifestyle that is congruent with your six figure income. Asking yourself the following questions might help you design a congruent vision board:

What would you do differently when you realize your goal?

Where would you travel?

Where would you live?

What would you wear?

What things would you own?

What kind of vehicle would you drive?

What would you do for work?…Or would you work?

Who would you help?Step 2—Sort and Cut. Go through your pile of pictures and select the ones that impact you the most emotionally. Cut the extraneous material away from the image.Step 3—Arrange and glue. Start arranging your pictures creatively on your board. Don’t worry about being artistic—that’s not the point. The point is that your board should resonate with your emotions. Arrange your pictures in a way that gives you an emotional connection to your vision board. After you are satisfied with the arrangement, glue all your pictures in place. Additionally, you might want to add writing or drawing on your vision board if you feel that it would better resonate with your emotions. A feature unique to my vision boards is that I also put two labels on the bottom of board that read: “Date created: [today’s date]” and “Date Manifested: [blank]” This lets me know how long my vision has been gestating since its creation and also every time I look at my vision board, not only am I emotionally charged with the pictures, but I also feel an overwhelming sense to see it manifested to completion.Step 4—Strategic positioning. The most important part of having a vision board is having it in a strategic location that gives you as much visual exposure to it throughout the day. For most of us, this is in the office, but if that is not possible or appropriate, then try your living room or your bedroom. Some people I know mount their vision boards on the ceiling above their bed so that it is the first thing they see when they wake up and the last thing they see when they go to sleep. If you are sensitive to what others might say of your vision board, then be sure to keep it in a safe area where only you will see it. Negative criticism or justification of your dreams can kill the energy that your vision board releases. As Brian Tracy states, “What they don’t know, can’t hurt you.”[7]Step 5— Update your vision board.Your vision board has to inspire you. It has to charge you with renewed passion everytime you look at it and over time and as you progress closer towards your vision, you might find that some of the images or pictures on your vision board don’t really carry as much emotional impact on you as they did before. When this happens, you’ll want to update your vision board with new fresh images that do inspire you. You’re vision board is not a finished piece of art after its initial creation. It’s a dynamic piece of art that shifts and changes as your vision shifts and changes. Therefore, if you find your level of passion that your vision board gives you is growing weaker, then update it to bring fresh new emotions to it.FAMOUS EXAMPLES OF THE LAW OF ATTRACTIONHere are three examples of famous people who have used the techniques of visualization to activate the law of attraction in their lives. Although not all of them specifically used vision boards to get what they wanted, the applications that they used were similar in function.John Assaraf’s Vision Board.Successful entrepreneur and author, John Assaraf, brought the age-old concept of a vision board to the mainstream public by relating his story of it in the motivational documentary, The Secret. In May of 2000, John was working in his home office inside his beautiful new home in Southern California when his five-year old son came in and asked him what were in the dusty boxes in the corner of his home office. John told him that it contained his vision boards. His son didn’t understand what they were, so John opened one of the boxes to show him. When John pulled out the second board from the box, he began to cry. On it was a picture of a 7000 square foot house on top of six acres of spectacular land that he had seen and cut out from Dream Homes magazine in 1995. It was the exact house that he had just purchased several weeks prior—A sure testament to the law of attraction at work.

Bruce Lee’s Letter. The late martial arts legend and my own personal role-model, Bruce Lee, understood the power of the law of attraction. As a struggling entrepreneur and actor, Bruce sat down one day and wrote the following letter to himself: “By 1980, I will be the best known oriental movie star in the United States and will havesecured $10 million dollars… And in return, I will givethe very best acting I could possibly giveeverysingle time I am in front of the camera and I will live in peace and harmony.” In 1973, months after Bruce’s untimely death, the blockbuster movie Enter the Dragon was released in both the United States and China, elevating Bruce to the level of an international star. According to Jack Canfield, that very letter that Bruce wrote to himself is hanging up on one of the walls at Planet Hollywood in New York City.[8]

Jim Carrey’s Check. As a struggling young comedian trying to make it in the make or break city of Hollywood, Jim Carreywasjust about ready to give up his dream of becoming a professional actor and comedian. He had just performed at an open mic session at one of the nightclubs in Los Angeles and had been booed off the stage by his audience. He sat by himself at the top of Mulholand Drive and looked out at the city below him—the city that held his future success or failure. He then pulled out his check book and wrote himself a check for $10 million dollars and made a note on it: “for acting services rendered.” He then carried that check with him in his wallet everywhere he went from that day forward. By 1995, after the success of his blockbuster movies: Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Dumb and Dumber, and The Mask, his contract price had risen to the price of $20 million dollars.[8]

Conclusion

Vision boards are an important tool in your success tool box. They are cheap to make and their potential value to you is immeasurable. Figure out what you want in your life and then commit yourself 100% towards making that first step of creating your vision board and activating the law of attraction to pull your dreams into reality.

Monday was a disappointing day for me, that is why I have not posted anything in a couple of days… I was waiting and excited about hearing from Sutter Home Build a Better Burger, and I did not. However I shifted fast and focused out because what I was really sad about was my friend John from our Screen writer’s group told me his Two Year Old Granddaughter was diagnosed with Leukemia. A dose a reality made me very grateful for my Monday, My Two Year Old Triplet Daughters are in excellent health…So when I/you moan, whine, and complain (I) remember this. A great coach of mine Alan Toranto once said you have about 15 square feet that makeup your body and an unlimited amount outside of yourself…so “FOCUS OUT NOT IN, IT IS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT YOU”. This is another Distinction that has life work.

The following was sent by John Hanks a friend and fellow screen writer (we check in with each other, to stay on track of our goals). However this time our blog was used for a more pertinent matter.

Sometimes we get to forget ourselves in the service of others (should happen more.) As I provide rides and care for two of my grandchildren, I initially bemoaned the things I couldn’t do for myself. Then as I watched my daughter and her husband totally focused on the child in crisis, I saw true selflessness. Everything else paled in comparison. Then this morning I woke up at 3:30…couldn’t sleep…turned the TV on and saw Wayne Dyer’s PBS show on the Power of Intention, one of my favorite shows and favorite topics. Loudly and clearly he restated the three barriers to self fulflillment…ego, energy and I forgot the third. But he firmly reminded me that the ultimate fulfillment is in service to others. More awareness of that came when I realized that today is the birthday of our fifth child, Robin, who was given three days to live as soon as she was born. My wife had had a high fever early in her pregnancy and also had taken worm medicine before she knew she was pregnant. LIttle Robin’s heart and several other organs were not fully developed even though she was full term. We held the precious little spirit in our arms for 18 days until her inevitable passing. During that time nothing else mattered. The world went on without us as we bonded with and cared for that little girl. I remember the people around us, family and friends, who gave hours and hours of time and tons of tears on our behalf. Now I get to provide that service to the woman who was 6 years old when her sister Robin left and whose children are now learning about the fragility of life. Our granddaughter will survive this ordeal and all concerned will learn more about life and themselves.

Meantime, I have a renewed sense of connection with the universe and know without a doubt that we are powerful beyond our imagination. The little weaknesses we sometimes give life to are easily dismissed by a simple choice to create abundance instead of scarcity…to live in love rather than fear. Even the great “tragedy” of a life threatening disease bears in it the seeds of growth, love and even happiness. When we focus on gratitude for the abundance in our lives, all things happen for our growth and our good.

Enough preaching. That’s just where I am right now. I am managing to move things forward in my CD ad campaign. In the few windows of time I have, I have taken advantage of my proximity to the creative team and met with them. The ad goes on line Sept. 10 for a month. I have also managed to continue my workouts at the local 24 Hour Fitness here.

Tonight I entered four recipes (Surf and Turf Grill Butter, Hibachi Butter, Bleu Anjou Butter, and Comfort Butter) to The 2nd Annual Plugra Magnifique Recipe Contest for Compound Butter. Notification for this contest is September 15, 2008. I am excited about this one. My husband and I were throwing some ideas around. I decided on creating a compound for grilling. I was sitting at my desk when I said we need to get a ribeye from the store. With that someone knocked on my door selling steaks, I about fell over…

Now the last time that happened was maybe 5 years ago, no one ever knocks on my door especially at 8pm. Many years ago I used to sell steaks off a truck (there I go being practical) to earn extra money during a hard spell, so I bought a box of rib eye from him, and Thanked God for the message.

It is written by Deepak Chopra in “Seven spiritual laws of success” that if you are doing what you should be doing (Your Talent, Your Dharma: special purpose in life) then will you prosper, then you are in your field of potentiality………This is where the coincidences happen, Support from God, the universe, your higher power.

I am also reminded these days of what my Godmother said to me when I was Seventeen and Cocktailing…”Julia, the biggest sin is to not use your God given talents”. I thought back then I needed to be practical and earn a living not dick around for $6.00/hr as some apprentice in an advertising firm in Manhattan (which I was offered, but that’s another story).

I now know

“Practical is a distraction that gets in the way of your dreams, goals, vision, the life you were meant to prosper from”.

So where did I come up with this ”Quote” that is all over the Internet these days?

“Why am I putting off my inevitable success?” ~Julia A. Renfro

One night back in April I was walking in a parking lot towards my Mini-Van (Triplets you know)and I got a whiff of Jasmine and felt a pleasant warm breeze on my face. I looked at the sky and the days were getting longer. I could feel Easter coming…ahhhh Spring. I then got a vision of James, I, and our Triplet daughters on a sailboat on the water of the Inter-coastal of Florida, living the ideal life…Laughing and having fun. I then thought, what was I waiting for? I am the most talented person I know, and I hear that from all who know me. So why am I not experiencing financial freedom yet? Then the question came…

“Why am I putting off my inevitable success?”

I cried back in 1987 when I heard Oprah say to Barbara Walters in an interview, “I always knew I was born for greatness”. I cried, because I know too. Now I just got to do something about it! So I went into overdrive back in April and haven’t looked back. Now I know success is all relative, and so is financial freedom. However I GET TO push the bar…and remember to BE not just DO…Then I shall HAVE. Remember do not be afraid of your greatness, do not be afraid to shine. I remind you of a beautiful poem by Marianne Williamson

It is a journal that you write at least 5 things in at the end of your day as to why you are grateful.

Gratitude Journal

What is it?

It is a journal that you write at least 5 things in at the end of your day as to why you are grateful.

example 1: I am grateful for my very active , curious Triplet Two year old daughters.

Think about this one… On a daily basis I can not tell you how many times I say URGH!!!!!!!!! Our daughters are always getting into something. A friend of mine was wondering why I always keep the doors to my rooms closed. Well one day she was watching the girls and she soon found out! It turns out her one 2 year old daughter follows her around and doesn’t get into things like my girls.

We ran into a couple with quadruplets One day at Whole foods and my girls where 5 months at the time, I saw that those children all had some physical or mental faculty challenge. I was pretty tired, worn out, whiny and bitchy. However that whole experience had me shift into my personal blessing and gratefulness called “A life with very healthy triplets”.

example 2:I am grateful I got layed off from my job, it is truly a blessing. Now I can pursue the career path I always wanted.

For you manly men out there this ones for you…………A journal will help you focus on the bright positive side of life. My personal belief is that we do have free will to create our future as we see fit. However in addition I believe before we come to this plain of existence we have an ultimate plan for ourselves, and on a subconscious level we know what it is. When we are not on the right path there will be chaos or what we perceive as chaos, and when we are on the right path our life runs smoothly. I believe the chaos is a knock on the head that is saying, “HEL-LO”! Like I am going to keep doing this till you get the message.

Back in 1997 I opened a company called Golf Experience Photography it was a concessional souvenir photography company. My husband was having trouble at his new job. He was laterally promoted from Car Service to Auto body. He was always a super star but at this new place his supervisor was a real ass. He was going on about how much he couldn’t stand this guy. James and I had had a fight basically due to his stress at work. We were sitting on our front porch and I said, “We cannot go on like this anymore, you need to quit your job and follow your dream of becoming a General Contractor”. I will never forget this, he looked at me like you really mean it? I can do that? you mean I do not have to keep working this job till it kills me? I fell in love with him all over that day. I knew out of years of conditioning this man would have worked till it killed him out of pure obligation. He picked up a news paper and started looking for a job, I asked, “What are you doing?” , and he said, “I am looking for a job”. I said, “Oh no your not , you are going to open your own company and follow your dream”. He said, “But how, Golf Experience is only grossing 5,000/month?” I said, “It will work itself out”. Now this right here is a anotherLife Distinction its called “Declare without evidence”, “Jump and the net will appear”. My husband was still in the, ”If I ever see that guy I’ll…..”. I said, no you won’t you will literally hug and kiss him for making your life miserable. You do not see it now , but you will”. A month later I signed a contract with three more golf courses. 10 years later….well.

We cannot see into to the future, but if we had faith and stayed in gratitude it keeps us on the right track. Time and perspective tells all.

When choosing your journal, and writing implements have them represent your true graciousness. Like when I cook, I do not just flop it on a plate, and take it for granted. I make it look beautiful as a thanks to God for my talents that afforded this wonderful meal. You can be in gratitude all day… When you wash a dish do not complain, but be grateful you do not live in a 3rd world country, be grateful, you have a job that bought the plates and food, be grateful you have a cabinet to place it in that is attached to the roof over your head. Ever wear rose colored lenses? it makes the greens greener, blues bluer, etc…

Why keep a journal?

/2008/08/15/quotations-from-the-secret/

The law of attraction states

“Gratitude brings more into your life immediately”. ~The Secret

“Happy feelings will attract more happy circumstances”. ~ The Secret
